Simply put, TGL Virtual Private Datacenters (TGL-VPD) is an advanced, enterprise grade hosting solution with an easy to use interface that allows you to focus on your business without worrying about the underlying infrastructure.
The TGL-VPD solution utilizes AppLogic so that users can package an entire N-tier application or service into a logical entity and manage it as a single system. To make this possible, AppLogic captures and operates on the logical structure of the application. This approach also makes it very easy to assemble, deploy, monitor, control and troubleshoot applications visually in a browser.
The TGL-VPD turns an array of standard servers and storage devices into a scalable computing resource you can use to meet the demands of your application.
Running your applications on a TGL-VPD is actually far simpler than using traditional hardware because there's never any hardware to deploy, configure or maintain. When you run an application on the TGL-VPD, it configures all of the infrastructure pieces needed on demand, assembles and configures them and runs your code on top. When you stop the application, AppLogic turns down the infrastructure and resources which can then be assigned to other areas.
Without the tie-in to hardware, all you need to assemble and manage applications is a browser. This easily allows you to control your hosted solution from anywhere in the world. Plus, when you need additional performance, it takes just minutes to increase the resources allocated to your application. You can add more NODES as needed giving you ultimate control and flexibility over the entire solution. TGL Virtual Private Datacenters are offered in three versions each with progressively higher computing resources. The minimum number of nodes on a Virtual Private Datacenter is 4 and this can scale to 48 nodes and beyond.
